The 142nd Fighter Wing Remembers 9/11
Oregon Air National Guardsmen Tech. Sgt. Daniel McCroskey and Staff Sgt. Joshua Combs work on a 142nd Fighter Wing F-15 Eagle. On September 11, 2001, teams of 142nd Fighter Wing aircraft maintainers diligently worked around the clock to ensure mission readiness. For Oregon Air National Guardsmen, the events of 9/11 tested their commitment to putting personal lives on hold to serve the state and nation in a serious time of need.
