Mike Burrell, the Chairman of the selection committee for the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, presents the "Wright Flyer" award to Fred Parish during the Oregon Aviation Hall of Honor Ceremony held at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, McMinnville, Ore., on October 17, 2010. Parish was representing the 123rd Observation Squardron, which was the first group to be inducted into the Hall of Honor. He is one of only eight living original members still living from the group of 117 members of the 123rd Oregon National Guard's first aviation unit. (U.S. Air Force photograph by Staff Sgt.
