Oregon Governer Ted Kulongoski lays wreath
Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski lays a wreath at Shikha Anirban, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, during a visit with Bangladeshi civilian and military leaders, Nov. 11. Shikha Anirban is dedicated to Bangladeshis who died during War of Independence with Pakistan, which ended in 1971. The Governor led a team of State Partnership Program members who met with senior military and civilian officials as part of the ongoing development of the program, which partners individual states??? national guard units with emerging democratic governments throughout the world.
