142 FW Civil Engineer Squadron conducts vertical ventilation training exercise
Staff Sgt Jacob Shank of the 142d FW Fire talks with Staff Sgt Brandon Boyd of 142d FW Public Affairs about an exercise that was designed to train the fire fighters on roof ventilation. A 4 foot by 4 foot hole was cut in the roof of the former BX, which during actual fire scenarios, would allow heat and smoke to escape and allow hose teams to advance to the source of a fire.
