Donation for Holidays
St. Pius - St. Vincent de Paul in Portland, Ore., brought holiday joy to Oregon Air National Guard families this holiday season, by presenting $200 in gift cards and six bags of groceries – enough to support two families this holiday season. The 142nd Fighter Wing Airman and Family Readiness Program Manager, Amy Conroy, right, was contacted by members of the Portland-based organization to provide a "hand-up" to local Airman and their Families. The donation of both food and gift cards far exceeded all expectations, said Conroy. “Our families couldn't believe what they received. They were brought to tears by the support shown to them!” she said. Our biggest Thank You to this organization for their willingness to honor and support Airman of the 142FW!
