The B-29 “Wun Wing Lo” was assigned to the 40th Bomb Squadron. It was flown by the Capt. Harrison M. Harp, Jr. Crew, #40r4. Sgt Arthur H. "Art" Angel, a mechanic who worked on this airplane, recalled how the aircraft got its name after a truck ran into one of the wings, which was replaced. The replacement wing hung lower that the other wing, and the aircraft was then named. Mrs. Elaine Angel attended the 6th Bomb Group’s Portland reunion in honor of her late husband.
