142nd FW Fighter Pilots participate in water survival training
A fighter pilot is dragged through the water by a jet ski at Cottonwood Beach, Washougal, Wash., July 26, 2019. This is meant to simulate the drag one would experience hitting the water as their parachute is propelled forward. The scenario was performed as part of biennial water survival training meant to ensure that pilots know the proper procedures in order to increase their chances of survival in the event of a water landing.
