Pilot 1st Lt. Sterling E. Barrow of “G” Flight stands by the nose of one of the squadron’s F-5Es showing the distinctive Redhawk emblem. Some squadron aircraft had nicknames and noseart on the right side of the nose. Note Barrow’s jacket also has the Redhawk emblem.
