The Ukrainian Children's Airlift of 1992
Portland International Airport’s (PIA) Sky Chefs kindly donated 100 in-flight meals for each C-141 flight taking the children from Portland to New York City. Two employees brought the meals over to this Mississippi ANG C-141B Starlifter, serial number 66-0164, on the Oregon ANG side of the PIA complex for the January, 1992 Ukrainian Children’s Airlift.
