The 371st Fighter Group and the Aftermath of the Holocaust
View of Stalag XIII-D at Nuremberg, where military prisoners of war from several nations were held during World War II. At least one 371st Fighter Group P-47 pilot, Capt. Luther Canup, was held here briefly in 1945 before being transferred to a stalag in Mossburg as American forces approached Nuremberg.
