142nd Wing Airmen support Operation Noble Eagle

An F-15 Eagle assigned to the Oregon Air National Guard’s 142nd Wing takes off from Joint base Langley-Eustis, Va. as a part of Operation Noble Eagle, the United States homeland defense mission, on Dec. 14, 2022. Operation Noble Eagle was established on September 12, 2001 as a response effort against terrorism in the United States, and has remained the primary homeland defense operation for the past 22 years.
