The ADC “A” Awards of Oregon’s 142nd Fighter Group

Colonel Patrick E. O’Grady, Commander, 142nd Fighter Group places the ADC “A” Award sticker on 123rd Fighter-Interceptor Squadron F-102A Delta Dagger serial number 57-0781 as he shakes hands with Major General Archie M. Burke, Commander, 25th Air Division during the presentation ceremony for the award on March 15, 1970 at Portland ANG Base, Portland, Oregon. The ADC “A” Award sticker was later moved to a position between the circular Air National Guard emblem and the aircraft serial number as a standardized location on the unit’s aircraft.
