Oregon’s Viper Years
The 114th Fighter Squadron flagship F-16A ADF 82-1014 touches down smoothly after a mission sometime after the squadron’s 1992 redesignation. It is named “City of Klamath Falls,” as seen just above the bulge at the bottom of the tail, after the community nearby to Kingsley Field. It was assigned to Oregon from April, 1989 to May, 1998, was refurbished for service with the Italian Air Force from 2003 to 2010, and in 2020 was converted to a full-scale aerial target drone.
