First Campaign: The 371st Fighter Group in the Air Offensive, Europe
Pilots of the 406th Fighter Squadron gather for a picture, possibly at Bisterne Airfield in the spring of 1944 sometime after May 17, 1944 when three of the men pictured were assigned to the squadron and before June 16 when the first of them was lost.
