Ash Like Snow: ORANG Airman Aids in Aftermath of Palisade Fire
Two vases are all that remain of a house that burnt down in Mandeville Canyon, California after the Palisades fire devastated much of Southern California in January 2025. Master Sgt. Steven Boyd, 142nd Wing Deputy Fire Chief, went down to California in January with the Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue based in central Washington. Boyd and his crew aided in mitigating further destruction in the aftermath of the fire. (Courtesy photo)
