Getting Patton to the Rhine
P-47D Thunderbolt “CAMP FIRE” with Lt. Howard C. Camp, 405th Fighter Squadron of the 371st Fighter Group, returning from a mission over Germany. Note the pilot has cracked open the canopy. Lt.
