The Consul of the United States for western France, the honorable Ms. Emily Cintora, the Mayor of Liffré, the honorable M. Guillaume Bégué, and the President of L’UNC, M. Francis Guilard, placed wreaths of flowers at the memorial stele for 405th Fighter Squadron P-47 Thunderbolt pilot Lt. Robert A. Mezzetti.
