Hot Rod Prop Summer - The F-51H Days of the Oregon ANG

A North American F-51H-5-NA Mustang, serial number 44-64255, of the California ANG’s 194th Fighter Squadron plies the skies over the Golden State. This aircraft also served with California’s 195th Fighter-Bomber Squadron during its ANG service. It’s possible it was one of the six 195th FBS F-51Hs that the 123rd FIS “borrowed” for its summer training at Gowen Field, Idaho in June, 1953. (Wikipedia)
