A Trio of Eagles – The Eagle Squadron Pilots of the 371st Fighter Group

Flight Lieutenant William J. “Diamond Jim” Daley (1919-1944) of No. 121 (Eagle) Squadron, RAF with his Spitfire Mk. V. Handwritten caption on reverse: '121 E.S. Fox Studio Photo U.K. Jim Daley, Pilot.' In 1942 he briefly commanded the 335th Fighter Squadron in the 4th Fighter Group in England, and in 1943 became the Deputy Commander of the 371st Fighter Group, USAAF(American Air Museum in Britain)
