Lt. Ron Bond, MIA since September, 1971. First Lieutenant Scott Powell, 390th TFS was roommates with 390th TFS Weapon System Officer 1st Lt. Ronald Leslie Bond at Da Nang Air Base in 1971. Pictured here, possibly for a picture to be used in combat search and rescue authentication, Lt. Bond was lost during a combat mission he flew on September 30, 1971, as a Fast FAC over southern Laos.
