PORTLAND, Oregon – Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command, General Terrence O’Shaughnessy, met with Airmen of the 123rd Fighter Squadron, 142nd Fighter Wing, August 23, 2018, to commend them for their actions during an alert launch on August 10, 2018.

During his visit, O’Shaughnessy provided a brief statement to the Airmen here at the Portland Air National Guard Base before presenting them with commemorative coins, a military tradition honoring individuals for noteworthy actions or accomplishments.
